Introduction about eSense
eSense is a digital education brand focused on providing eLearning solutions. It is a sister concern of Navneet Education Limited who are into book publishing and stationery. They have been a part of the education industry since pre independence. eSense is an initiative to integrate technology with learning. They have served over 4000 schools using TopSchool and other Edutech projects of theirs in India.
The Challenges faced by Impiger
The requisite was for a digital platform that could be used both online and offline by CBSE schools, designed using modern Tech Stacks. Since the solution is going to be used by schools and students, the solution needed to be ready by the next academic year (June’22). Robust technical solution is one of the key challenges in this application which required feasibility analysis, integration study, performance assessments and POC for certain features.
How Impiger Handled the situation
Impiger tackled the time constraint very efficiently by working on tight deadlines. The product was targeted to be made available around Mar’22. This meant that the product could be put to immediate use for the following academic year starting June’22. The team followed agile methodology to keep up with timelines. Members from the client side were part of the scrum to provide instant inputs to save time. Multiple teams and stakeholders worked in parallel to progress quickly. As a result, the product “TopSchool” was successfully made live within the set timeframe.
The Results
With the successful Go live of Phase 1 – TopSchool product came in a lot of appreciation and words of gratitude from the leaders of team eSense.
Technical Information
TopSchool application is hosted in AWS, potential usage of DevOPS practice is followed in this application which helped in automatic deployment in various environments seamlessly and for creating online/offline builds with respective pipeline configuration.
